Specialist Care

Service users can attend willow Park with their own PA’s, independently or opt for a support package, delivered by us tailored to their individual needs.

All staff are fully trained in mandatory training such as Manuel handling, first aid, health and safety and much more but also we train further in Enteral feeding e.g. PEG/JEJ, Epilepsy & Emergency Medication and oxygen to provide the best care possible.

Young Adult Transition

We understand that leaving school is a big step and that is why we want to support you with your next steps. At 16 you can start attending Willow Park during the school holidays because we all know that it is important to have places to go to meet friends and try out new activities. It can also be a worrying time, therefore attending Willow Park gradually can create a smoother transition from leaving school.

Courses at Willow Park

ASDAN is a pioneering curriculum development organisation and awarding body, offering programmes and qualifications that explicitly grow skills for learning, skills for employment and skills for life.

If you choose to enrol on an ASDAN course you will first be required to complete a ‘Starting Out’ booklet which gives us information about you. You will then complete a series of activities and challenges for your chosen course, for example, ‘Work Right’ or ‘Towards Independence’.

Evidence will be collected in the form of witness statements, photographs and your personal written and/or printed work which will be placed in your folder and sent to ASDAN to be assessed. After assessment is complete, you will be rewarded with your well deserved ‘ASDAN – Certificate of Achievement’.
